Collado de los Ginovinos & Embalse de la Pedrera

Today we venture onto a Vuelta de Murcia route, riding out of Los Alcazares and head out into the agricultural area through the orange groves to Collado de los Ginovinos & Embalse de la Pedrera.

Before you head back to the hotel it’s always great to finish a ride at a local chiringuito for a well earned cerveza or two!

The only way is up today as we enter the Sierra Espuña National Park to climb the Collado Bermejo. Taking in the opportunities to stop at the viewing points is optional as we work our way to the 1530m summit.

Look out for local legends such as Alejandro Valverde and Luis Leon Sanchez who use this route for training.
