Since October 2018 Murcia Bike Hire has empowered thousands of cyclists to explore the hidden lanes of Murcia and Alicante on perfectly maintained carbon road bikes. Book a Focus Izalco Max or BMC Teammachine SLR in minutes—or let our team design a complete cycling-holiday package that handles every detail from airport transfer to café stop.
Doorstep Convenience
We deliver and collect your bike at the time and place that suit your itinerary. Fees are postcode-based and cover our entire service area, including Los Alcázares, Torre de la Horadada, Cabo Roig, La Zenia, La Manga Club, San Pedro del Pinatar, Villamartín, Playa Flamenca, Rojales, Torrevieja, and Alicante.
Please note: Murcia Bike Hire operates as a delivery-based service only — customers cannot collect or return bikes directly to our base. Deliveries and collections take place Monday to Saturday; Sunday rides are still encouraged, but hire periods cannot start or end on a Sunday.

Next, we bring the bike from our base near Banos y Mendigo to your door in the Murcia or Alicante provinces. We also collect the bike at the end of your rental period.
If your address sits more than 15km away, the booking system adds a small delivery supplement automatically. For example, this applies to Cartagena, La Manga, Mazarron, Rojales, Torrevieja, and Alicante.
Please note, we don’t deliver to airports.
Because airline baggage rules are strict, we supply the essentials. These include a track pump, mini-pump, seat-bag toolkit, two bottle cages and a Garmin mount. At checkout, ask for a Wahoo adapter.
Finally, you can add pedals, helmets, and bottles during the booking process for delivery with the bike.

We specialise in high-end carbon road bikes only. Our fleet includes the Focus Izalco Max 8.9 and the BMC Teammachine SLR Five, both fitted with compact gearing (50/34T with 11–34 cassette) and 28 mm tyres—perfect for Murcia’s smooth tarmac and climbs.
We match you to the correct frame using your height and inseam. Focus sizes range from 50–61 cm, BMC from 47–58 cm. Each comes with factory crank and stem lengths. If unsure, just provide your height at booking—we’ll set up your bike in advance.
Yes. Simply bring them along and we will fit them at delivery free of charge. All bikes include a GPS mount and Murcia Bike Hire branded bidon.
Helmet use is mandatory in Spain. You can bring your own, or we can supply one for €10 per week if requested when booking.
A Security deposit: €250 per bike is requested via the booking reminder email, using a secure link to complete a credit card pre-authorisation. The hold is released on satisfactory return of the bike, in accordance with the Rental Agreement. Customers are responsible for theft, loss, or damage beyond normal wear.
No. Use of Murcia Bike Hire bikes in organised races, triathlons, or time trials is strictly prohibited.
If you are more than 1 hour late, a €25 fee applies. Beyond 24 hours, additional charges apply, including staff time and compensation for unavailability.
Yes, our team provides a delivery and collection service across the Murcia and Alicante provinces. Delivery costs vary depending on postcode, and times are confirmed once your booking is scheduled.
Our team works Monday to Saturday to ensure all bikes are fully prepared, serviced, and delivered to and collected from your holiday accommodation within the agreed time slot confirmed following your booking.
Please note: bike hire periods can include Sundays, but cannot start or end on a Sunday. Please ensure you have arrived in time for delivery no later than 4:30 pm..
This approach allows us to maintain our high service standards while giving our team valuable family and rest time. We appreciate your understanding and recommend planning your hire dates accordingly. Sunday rides are still encouraged — just ensure you are available to hand the bike back the following day during our normal business hours.
