This spectacular high-mountain loop takes you from the coastal town of El Campello into the rugged interior of Alicante, featuring a major climb into the Peña Migjorn and Menejador mountain region. Designed for experienced cyclists, the Peña Migjorn Loop offers long, sustained climbing, alpine-style switchbacks, and panoramic views that make the effort more than worthwhile.

What to Expect
Departing from El Campello, the route heads inland through Agost and rises gradually before the climbing intensifies toward the 40 km mark—reaching altitudes close to 1,000 metres. The heart of the ride winds through pristine highland forests and past towering peaks like Peña Migjorn (1,226 m) and Menejador (1,356 m).
After cresting the high point, a sweeping descent leads you back through Busot and Mutxamel before finishing back on the coast.
