Suggested Itinerary**
Day 1 – Arrival
Airport transfer from you arrival airport to the stunning Sierra Espuna Regional Park, where you will be greeted at the Hotel Jardines de la Santa. After checking into the hotel it’s time to collect your BMC Carbon Road Bike and head out onto the quiet roads and acclimatise to your new surroundings.
Day 2 – Collado Bermejo
For today’s ride it’s suggested that you head for the Collado Bermejo with its summit at 1200m, a challenge for all levels of cyclist with the option to stop at the observation points and enjoy the views. This route has featured in the Vuelta de Murcia and also the Grand Tour La Vuelta. If elevation is not your thing then we have alternative routes on offer.

Day 3 – Round the Espuna
Having reached the summit of the Collado Bermejo yesterday, then the opportunity to same the quiet rolling roads through the small villages around the base of the mountain.

Day 4 – Head for the coast
Having enjoyed your time in the tranquility of the Sierra Espuna, it’s time to enjoy a change of scenery with today’s route taking you along the Mediterranean coast. Your route takes you towards Puerto Mazarron, and the beautiful port of Cartagena with its Roman heritage, with your final destination being Los Alcazares on the shores of the Mar Menor.

Day 5 – Orange Groves and Agriculture
The Murcia region is known as the “Vegetable Garden of Europe” so today’s route will take you into the heart of the region with many quiet roads and contrasting views.

Day 6 – La Manga Peninsula
On your final day our route will take you along the shores of the Mar Menor lagoon and into the La Manga peninsula which includes the mineral mining heritage areas of Portman and La Union.
